Design information only works when it reaches site intact

ITPs, hold points, approved details and material schedules turn design intent into repeatable installation and useful evidence.

The final drawing is not the end of design. The installation team still needs the right revision, the right products, the right sequence and a clear record of what must be checked.

Translate design decisions into hold points

An ITP should identify the checks that protect performance: substrate acceptance, support positions, fixing type and embedment, membrane laps, cavity-barrier continuity, insulation fit, bracket adjustment and weathering interfaces.

Make evidence easy to capture correctly

Inspection prompts should refer to the relevant detail, location and acceptance criterion. Photographs without context are weak evidence; a location, revision, check and result make them useful.

Control substitutions before installation

A visually similar product may have a different classification, fixing requirement, compatibility limit or tested arrangement. Substitution review belongs upstream of ordering and site use.

Practical next step: issue a site-facing quality pack containing the approved build-up, material schedule, ITP, inspection forms, current details and escalation route.
