Privacy notice

How we use your information.

This notice explains how ALM Complete Design Ltd uses personal information supplied through this website or during an initial project conversation. Last updated 19 September 2026.

Review status: this notice supports the website review build and must be confirmed against the final hosting, email, analytics and AI-provider arrangements before publication.

Who is responsible

ALM Complete Design Ltd (company number 17268845), 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, is the controller for the information described here. Use the privacy request form to contact the company about your information.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, work contact details, company, project stage, the content of your enquiry and related correspondence. Basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser information and request time, may be processed to operate and secure the website. Do not send passwords, special-category personal data or confidential project documents through the public forms or chat.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use enquiry information to respond, understand the requested service, take steps at your request before a possible contract and manage subsequent business correspondence. Our lawful bases are steps before entering a contract and our legitimate interests in operating the business, answering genuine enquiries, maintaining records and protecting the website. Where a legal obligation applies, we use information to meet that obligation.

Website chat

If enabled, the Ask ALM control loads Tidio and its Lyro AI service only after you choose to open the chat. Tidio processes the conversation and related technical information under its service terms. Chat responses are general business and project-intake guidance, not design approval, compliance certification or a substitute for competent professional review. Do not submit passwords, special-category personal data or confidential project documents.

Optional analytics

Analytics is disabled unless a production measurement ID is configured and you choose “Accept analytics”. If accepted, Google Analytics receives the public page path, the referring site's origin, device and network information, and a limited set of interaction names. ALM does not send names, email addresses, project notes, form values or chat messages. Advertising signals and personalisation are disabled. No optional analytics is active in this review build.

Who receives information

Authorised ALM personnel and contracted providers supporting website hosting, security, business email, enquiry delivery, consented analytics and, when enabled, AI processing may process relevant information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information. Provider processing outside the UK is permitted only where an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and contractual safeguards apply.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as needed for the enquiry, any resulting professional relationship, legal or insurance obligations, dispute handling and system security. The period depends on the record and project context; records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer required. Final analytics retention must be recorded here before analytics is enabled.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information, object to its use, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy. Submit a privacy request to ALM. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk.

Cookies and changes

Without analytics consent, the public website does not set non-essential advertising or analytics cookies. The analytics preference itself is stored in your browser so the site can respect your choice. We will update this page when the website's processing or providers materially change.
