Wind-load and system design
Project wind actions are translated into design loads for panels, rails, brackets, mullions, transoms and fixings, with zones and governing cases clearly identified.

Performance and calculations
ALM connects project inputs, current geometry, governing cases, results and limitations so calculations can be reviewed against the proposed envelope.

Checks and evidence
Project wind actions are translated into design loads for panels, rails, brackets, mullions, transoms and fixings, with zones and governing cases clearly identified.
Support systems are checked for the worst credible bracket cantilever, fixing position, load combination, adjustment range and recorded substrate condition.
Structural movement, thermal movement, inter-storey behaviour, tolerances and serviceability limits are coordinated with joints, seals and brittle finishes.
U-values, repeating thermal bridges, condensation risk and interface continuity are assessed where appointed, using the actual build-up and defensible material properties.
Inputs, outputs and limits
Design criteria, geometry, material properties, structural substrate, fixing data, wind information and interface details.
Calculation reports, marked-up governing zones, design reactions, fixing requirements, limitations and linked detail references.
When calculations must validate a proposed facade system, answer review comments or support technical submission.
